The indulgent lunch, attended by church companions, racked up an impressive bill of N1.1 million.
In a video snippet disseminated by Instablog9ja, a friend of Baci detailed their post-service adventure, expressing surprise at the extravagant total. However, they found solace in the fact that they were in the company of the world-record holder, who graciously footed the bill.
Chef Hilda Baci has made history with a 100-hour long cooking marathon, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes. Originally slated for April 28 to May 1, the event was rescheduled and relocated to Amore Garden due to the high volume of interested attendees.
As expected, the event witnessed a massive turnout from Nigerians who came out to cheer on the formidable Hilda. The prestigious event at Amore Garden attracted notable personalities, including politicians and celebrities, manifesting an overwhelming organic support.
Among the notable attendees was the Wife of the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Other political heavyweights showing support included former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Governor God’s will Akpabio, and Lagos State Governor, Babájídé Sanwo-Olu, who also made a personal appearance in solidarity with Hilda Baci. The occasion was a star-studded affair, cementing Baci’s status as a leading figure in Nigeria’s culinary scene.
